Oracle (novel, in planning)

A long novel in planning — half-realistic, half-alternate-history. Ancient setting, modern questions. On civilizational encounter and misreading, the fragility of freedom, and a "tianxia" that has not yet arrived. Living framework in Chinese; not even a first draft.

A long novel I’m planning — not a draft yet, only a framework. Working title 《神谕》 (Oracle); candidate series umbrella 《空和平》/《长停战》 (The Hollow Peace / The Long Armistice).

Set ten years after a “hollow peace” treaty. Two civilizational blocs — a Mediterranean-and-New-World Greater Hellas and a Eurasian-Persian-and-East Greater Persia / Heavenly Courts — face each other across a war-scarred transition zone, with an ungovernable steppe to the north and a non-aligned mercantile confederation to the south. An expanding oracular network grows uncannily precise; in parallel, more and more people “awaken” — some die of bliss, others become entities no polity can absorb. A larger crisis is coming, but every character can only see a fragment of it.

The framework v0 — themes, world map, factions, characters, structure — lives at /assets/html/oracle-novel-framework.html. It’s written in Chinese and will be reworked many times before any prose exists.
